SUMMARY:Challenging the mobilisation myth: Driving performance through effective contract mobilisation | Interactive Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Team mobilisation is often seen as a half-day activity to generate a behavioural charter that becomes a poster on the meeting room wall and is then largely ignored for the rest of the contract. In recent years\, however\, there are a number of projects and programmes that have significantly increased performance by taking a systematic approach to contract mobilisation. \nThis workshop will explore various approaches to mobilisation including: \n\nStarting early in the procurement process\nCutting across internal silos to align deliverables and contractual scope\nAligning internal maturity with desired partner maturity and behaviours\nAdopting a pragmatic approach based on the reality of the environment\nDesigning and preparing from first impressions to valued long-term relationships\n\nIn this session\, we will be joined by Liz Lawman\, Head of Mobilisation at HS2\, who will share her experiences in mobilising multiple major contracts within a single programme. \nThe event has been designed to cover general industry learning and encourage peer-to-peer sessions to challenge assumptions and develop bespoke possibilities for mobilisation strategies for those in the room. \nFor this workshop\, we’ve partnered with the Major Projects Association (MPA).
