SUMMARY:ResoLex Roundtable: Behavioural Impact on Productivity
DESCRIPTION:The construction industry must embrace new approaches for mega projects\, but the requirement is even greater when delivering giga projects. The scale of these complex programme environments offer the opportunity to experiment with new practices and ideas to tackle even more complex challenges. However\, the significance of behaviours is often overlooked. \nWe see major projects comprising of three interlinked competencies; technical\, commercial and behavioural. Many project teams put resource into managing the first two competencies but the behavioural challenges are equally important and we believe they are inextricably linked to project performance. For example\, we must navigate complicated interfaces\, and manage cultural diversity and different ways of working – addressing these challenges is even more pressing on larger projects. \nThe question is\, how can we effectively manage these issues as the project scale increases? \nWe are pleased to announce that three exceptional speakers from Jacobs will be joining us for our next roundtable. Jessica Ellery\, Director of Market Solutions\, Gail Hunter\, Divisional Director\, and Josh Weatherley\, Construction Manager will delve into one of their current projects\, a real-life $500Bn giga project in Saudi Arabia. The Line is a linear smart city under construction in Neom.
